Sara Dolfi Agostini

Sara Dolfi Agostini is an Italian-born art curator based in Malta. Since 2008 she has worked for several international art institutions including Manifesta and Magnum Photos. From late 2013 to mid 2016 she was the co-curator of a public art commission initiated by the City of Milan, on which she collaborated with renowned artists Jeremy Deller, Judith Hopf, Jimmie Durham, Damián Ortega, Wilfredo Prieto, Shilpa Gupta and Kiki Smith, among others. Over the past two years, she has been pursuing her career as an independent curator while serving in the advisory board on photography for the Triennale Museum in Milan. In Malta, she recently curated the presentation of Stuart Franklin at St James Cavalier, Valletta. She is a regular contributor to the newspaper Il Sole 24 ORE and has written for international art magazines such as Flash Art International, KLAT, and Camera Austria. In addition, she is an adjunct faculty member for Fondazione Modena Arti Visive and has lectured at the University of Bologna, the School of the Art institute in Chicago, World Bank Headquarters in Washington DC, and frequently at Il Sole 24 ORE Master School and NABA, both in Milan.
