In the highly contested social spaces of an urban landscape with its myriad of social, political, and environmental tensions, what is the role of contemporary art in creating opportunities for place making, for wider participation and re-energising communities?”
As part of the MICAS Education and Community Programming Strand (MEC), the Malta International Contemporary Art Space (MICAS) will be holding a conference on Saturday 17th of September 2022, at The Malta Chamber in Valletta. During this event, local and international speakers from various creative disciplines and academia will be exploring the role of Contemporary Art in Urban Public Spaces.
