The Skirt is a new book for children written by Anej Sosic and illustrated by the Maltese artist Kenneth Zammit Tabona.

This book has come to life with the generosity of Francis Sultana who sponsored the project. 50% of the sale price will be donated to MICAS and the other 50% will go to Fondazzjoni Sebh, supporting abused women and children.

The book tells a poignant story of Phoenix, making the reader aware of issues many young people face and making us understand about being tolerant, understanding and accepting ourselves and about inclusion with love. The story has been brought to life beautifully in illustration.
