A coloured sand activity set to create abstract compositions, inspired by the style of Wassily Kandinsky, a great master of abstract art. Designed by illustrator Philip Giordano for Djeco.

Children place the picture in the box, use the tool provided to expose the pre-pasted areas, and sprinkle over the sand following the colour-coded instructions. The free forms thus created seem to be playing with our emotions.

The kit has been designed as a no-mess activity as children work in the box, and so you can collect leftover sand back into the post.
