30 million years ago, a layer of limestone began forming the Maltese islands. Today, this ancient past is fused with modern, gender-neutral designs, handcrafted by Tara Lois, a leading contemporary Maltese jewellery designer. This collection was created using recycled 925 sterling silver and stalactites and stalagmites. Once discarded, these formations are now collected and transformed into hand-shaped creations, each uniquely showcasing millennia of geological history . This collection is crafted using CAD-designed, 3D-printed wax models and cast by hand.
