Rebecca Lewin

Rebecca Lewin is based in London, where she works as Curator of Exhibitions and Design at the Serpentine Galleries. She has worked on two of the Serpentine’s annual architectural programmes, Frida Escobedo (2018) and Sou Fujimoto (2013), and is currently developing an expansion of the Serpentine’s design programme. She has curated sixteen exhibitions at the Serpentine and produced accompanying catalogues for each, including Luchita Hurtado (2019), Pierre Huyghe (2018), Wade Guyton (2017), DAS INSTITUT (2016) and Martino Gamper (2014). She has also curated independent exhibitions, including ‘A Partition’ at Cell Project Space (2016), ‘The Palace of Green Porcelain’ at Breese Little Gallery (2013) and ‘Pertaining to things natural…’ at the Chelsea Physic Garden (2012). Three contributions to the Phaidon publication Vitamin C were published in 2018, while her essay on the Lucy Raven exhibition and on the collaborative practice of DAS INSTITUT were published in 2016 by the Serpentine Galleries and Koenig books. She has written for Mousse Magazine and Semiose Galerie’s Pleased To Meet You series.
