Emanuele Coccia huwa Professur Assoċjat tal-Filosofija l-École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales ta’ Pariġi, u qabel kien jgħallem Freiburg im Breisgau, il-Ġermanja. Kien Professur mistieden l-universitajiet ta’ Buenos Aires, Dusseldorf, Tokjo u Weimar. Kien fellow tal-Italian Academy for Advanced Studies in America tal-Columbia University ta’ New York. Ħadem estensivament fuq l-estetika u l-bijoloġija, u kiteb dwar l-arti kontemporanja u l-moda. Il-pubblikazzjonijiet tiegħu jinkludu Sensible Life (New York, 2016), Goods: Advertising, Urban Space and the Moral Law of the Image (New York, 2017), u The Life of Plants (London, 2018). Ma’ Giorgio Agamben, editja antoloġija estensiva dwar l-anġli fil-Ġudaiżmu, il-Kristjanità u l-Iżlam, Angeli: Giudaismo, Cristianesimo, Islam (Milan, 2009).
