Andrew has been living in Malta for just over a year now. His lifelong ambition has been to work in Malta where his mother is from. Since arriving in Malta, his focus has been working on various consultancy projects such as the Corinthia Palace in Attard, and now he is currently working on the MICAS Sculpture Garden. Before coming to Malta, he was the gardener-in-charge for a National Trust Garden based in Hampstead, London, called Fenton House. There, he worked for 11 years transforming an amenity style garden into an exciting floral display, using his knowledge and passion for plants which he previously gained from working 11 years at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew.
His main passion in horticulture is creating romantic yet dramatic gardens for people to dwell and enjoy, while choosing plants and gardening methods to help nature in the gardens. Andrew’s favourite, well-known garden expression is “right plant, right place!”
